India has almost a 6000 km long coastline, which is home to some of the optimum beaches in the world. Andaman has many beautiful, crystal clear and fine eco-friendly beaches. Andaman has also recently been recognized as a world-class eco-tourist destination to discover the under-water treasures of marine life.
Andaman Islands (10º30'-14ºN; 92-93ºE) are the emerged part of a mountain chain and lie on a ridge, which extends southward from the Irrawaddy delta area of Burma. Andaman has many sandy crystal clear beaches and it’s an eco-friendly tourist destination. Floating in splendid isolation, east of the Indian mainland, is the archipelago of 572 emerald islands, islets and rocks known as the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Andaman &Nicobar Island offers beautiful island vacations and beach tours. Each island in Andaman’s has its own uniqueness and beauty. The beaches in Andaman’s are very clean &crystal clear. The capital of andaman is the Andamanese island town of Port Blair.The population as per the most recent (2001) Census of India was 356,152. Day 01: Arrive Andaman
Arrival at Port Blair in the morning/afternoon by flight and transfer to hotel. After lunch visit Corbyns Cove beach the only beach in city of Port Blair and then proceed to attend the enthralling Sound and Light Show at Cellular Jail - where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive.
Day 02: Port Blair Havelock
Departure by Private ferry from Port Blair Havelock. The ferry takes 1.5-2.5 hrs. to reach Havelock. Guest have to collect luggage and walk to the exit gate where our person will be waiting outside the jetty gate with the guest name on the placard. Proceed to selected hotel and in the evening at around 1500- 1530 hrs proceed to Beach No 7* (Radhanagar Beach) rated as the Best Beach in Asia by Time Magazine and unwind.
Day 03: Havelock - Neil Island
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and transfer to the jetty to board the Private/Government ferry to Neil Island. Upon arrival, transfer to the Hotel in Neil Island and check-in. Set out for a sightseeing trip to Laxmanpur Beach, Bharatpur Beach and Natural Bridge in the evening. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel in Neil Island.
Day 04: Havelock - Neil Island
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and transfer to the jetty to board the Private/Government ferry to Neil Island. Upon arrival, transfer to the Hotel in Neil Island and check-in. Set out for a sightseeing trip to Laxmanpur Beach, Bharatpur Beach and Natural Bridge in the evening. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel in Neil Island.
Day 05: Neil Island Port Blair
After breakfast at the hotel, check-out and transfer to the jetty. Board the Private/Government ferry for Port Blair. On reaching, check-in to the Hotel at Port Blair and relax and unwind.
Day 06: Port Blair City Tour and Chidyatapu
After breakfast, start for a tour of places in & around Port Blair (City Tour) - covering the famous Cellular Jail, Chatham Saw Mill (one of the oldest & largest in Asia), Forest Museum, Anthropological Museum, Fisheries (Marine) Museum, Naval Marine Museum (Samudrika). At 1530 hrs. proceed to Chidyatapu located 30 kms away from Port Blair and also called the Sunset Point in Andamans. Return back to proceed for some local shopping.
Day 07: Departure
Depart Port Blair by flight with Fond memories of these mesmerizing Islands.
