India has almost a 6000 km long coastline, which is home to some of the optimum beaches in the world. Andaman has many beautiful, crystal clear and fine eco-friendly beaches. Andaman has also recently been recognized as a world-class eco-tourist destination to discover the under-water treasures of marine life.
Andaman Islands (10º30'-14ºN; 92-93ºE) are the emerged part of a mountain chain and lie on a ridge, which extends southward from the Irrawaddy delta area of Burma. Andaman has many sandy crystal clear beaches and it’s an eco-friendly tourist destination. Floating in splendid isolation, east of the Indian mainland, is the archipelago of 572 emerald islands, islets and rocks known as the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Andaman &Nicobar Island offers beautiful island vacations and beach tours. Each island in Andaman’s has its own uniqueness and beauty. The beaches in Andaman’s are very clean &crystal clear. The capital of andaman is the Andamanese island town of Port Blair.The population as per the most recent (2001) Census of India was 356,152. Day 01: Arrive Andaman
Arrival at Port Blair in the morning/afternoon by flight and transfer to hotel. After rest visit the famous Cellular Jail and then proceed to attend the enthralling Sound and Light Show at Cellular Jail - where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive.
Day 02: Port Blair – Havelock Island – Beach No 7
Departure by Private/ Government ferry from Port Blair – Havelock. The ferry takes 1.5-2.5 hrs. to reach Havelock. Guests will have to collect luggage and walk to the exit gate where our person will be waiting outside the jetty gate with the guest name on the placard. Proceed to selected hotel and in the evening at around 1500- 1530 hrs. proceed to Beach No 7* (Radhanagar Beach) rated as the ‘Best Beach in Asia’ by Time Magazine and unwind.
Day 03: Excursion to Elephant Beach/ Light House
Embark on the most memorable excursion by boat where guest can indulge in water sports like Snorkeling, Jet Kayak, Sea Walk - Subject to weather
( ALL ACTIVITIES ON EXTRA PAYMENT), just 25 - 40 min by Boat. This beach offers calm blue shallow waters and is the perfect spot for water sports. It’s also a great place to just spend the day lying on the beach and relaxing. The beach is very scenic with fallen trees and white sand giving the photographer some interesting shots. The reef here starts very close to shore at a depth of about 1 meter. The large reef is mostly made up of hard coral and has plenty of marine life.
Day 04: Day at Leisure
Guest can relax on a nearby beach by swimming and relax or for the more adventurous guest can rent a Two Wheeler and drive around the Island- Havelock can easily covered by travelling a total of 30 kms or you could book yourself for a Diving Experience for Rs 3500 with a certified Dive Shop. We highly recommend that guest visit Something Different – A Beach Side Café #1 Restaurant on Havelock as per trip advisor reviews which is the only Beach Side Café and offers a multiple choices from India/ Chinese/ Continental. (All activities on this day are on extra payment and not included)
Day 05: Havelock – Kalapathar – Port Blair
Check out from hotel and at around 1000 hrs. proceed to visit to Kalapathar Beach and then be dropped to Something Different – The Only Beach Side Café at Havelock where you can unwind or relax on the beach and then have lunch on direct payment. (Restaurant – Rated as No. 1 Restaurant in Trip Advisor). Return from Something Different to Jetty to board return Private/ Government ferry from Havelock Island to Port Blair. Evening is at Leisure.
Day 06: Departure
Depart Port Blair with Fond memories of these mesmerizing Islands.
